In 1951 Fender released its first bass model called "Precision", at that time the "Fender Stratocaster" did not yet exist and the only guitar that had the brand was the "Telecaster". That is why the pickup that was designed for this bass had a similar design as Telecaster bridge pickup although without the rear steel plate. Our 51 P-Bass are a good replacement for the originals, with clear and sweet sound.
