In the second half of the 1950s, Fender replaced the single coil pickup (51 P-Bass) with a new design with 2 coils, one for every 2 strings. This new pickup has more power and punch than the old one and our reproduction tries to mimic that character so it is wound at approximately 11 kohms. The wire used is plain enamel 42 awg type and the magnets are alnico 5 . The end of the manufacture is completed with a wax's bath.
